COMBAT IN THE CAGE 2ND OFFENCE

January 10th, 2009 started the year off right for Baltimore’s Practical MMA. Combat In The Cage Second Offence was held in Manassas VA, at the fairgrounds. Sifu Chis Clark fought a quick and strong fight against, PA MMA team Hammer member Mike Manion that ended in under one minute of the first round due a heel hook submission landed by Sifu Chris. Two other fighters from Baltimore defeated their opponents, Zach Coleman (GroundControl) winning by knocking out Travis John (Team Abdahli) and Dave Danecki (Ground Control) submitting Steve Wampler (MMA Institute) via Americana armlock. Many other great fights took place such as CITC very first female MMA fight between Iman Achhal and Amanda Jones, which ended in Iman Achhal’s victory by unanimous decision. All in all it was an exciting night with most fights ending in first round victories.
